Okay so I still have two Technics SL1200mkII turntables in my living-room because I can’t give up the sweet, warm, analog sound of vinyl engrained into me from my DJing youth. I suspect this is the same reason I find myself running out and blasting off a roll of film or two on an old school Diana camera every now and then. Nostalgia, as found in pictures, words and music, is often about the medium.
