I recently travelled to the Canadian Arctic to shoot and direct a TV pilot with production company, inMotion. We flew into Pond Inlet, Nunavut with show host Jody Gienow and then headed out 60km onto open ice to explore for 7 days. What we found: wildlife that humbles you to the core, ice that breaks up under your feet like it’s the apocalypse, and a tradition and way of life that is rapidly changing. All the makings of an exciting and essential new TV series!
